The 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is ranked the highest in the large pickup segment of the 2008 Initial Quality Study conducted by J.D. Power and Associates. Chevrolet Silverado had the least number of problems per 100 vehicles among large pickups in the J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Initial Quality Study, based on responses from 81,530 new-vehicle owners, after examining 344 models and opinions after 90 days of ownership.
