Mike is our General Manager and has over 32 years in the car business. He is a true car enthusiast and a current Corvette owner. In fact, he races his Corvette in SCCA's T1 road racing class.
His crew chief is Jeff Kopp our Parts Manager, and his chief mechanic is Jason Lobdell, our top Corvette technician. With 7 Midwest Division National Racing Championships and over 80 race wins, he knows a thing or two about performance. Mike's also our collector car and muscle car expert, and he's wired in to all of Rick Hendrick's team of experts on current collector car values. Over the years he's owned dozens of muscle and sports cars, and sold hundreds of Corvettes. If you're thinking about trading in a muscle car or collector car, this is the place to do it.
Scott started with the Hendrick Automotive Group in 2003 as a pre-owned salesperson. After achieving Presidents Club status in sales, he was promoted to New Car Manager where he helped train, certify and test all of Hendrick Chevrolet's Corvette Specialists. Scott was later promoted to Used Vehicle Director where he routinely attended Corvette and Specialty Car Auctions in order to ensure that the Hendrick staff is always up to date on current pricing and market values. In 2012, Scott moved to the General Sales Manager position where he continues his passion for the Corvette, and almost any antique automobile.
Jim attended Northwood University Automotive Marketing Program in 1996 with an Automotive Marketing-Business Management degree. He moved to Kansas City following graduation where he started as a salesperson at Superior Chevrolet in July 1996, he spent 8 months in the New Vehicle Department as a sales consultant. Jim briefly worked in service as a consultant until he spent a successful night filling in at the sales tower. Jim asked for the position the next day and has been our sales manager ever since. During his time here we have been a Mark of Excellence Award Winner six times. Jim has been essential in coordinating the Mark of Excellence Training program for the sales department for over 10 years. He also helps us maintain our status as one of the top Corvette dealers in the country.
Robert joined the Hendrick Automotive Group in October 2002 with a history and passion for performance cars. Robert was chosen to represent the dealership at the Bondurant Driving School when the new generation C6 Corvette Z06 was introduced by Chevrolet. He has promoted the dealership and Corvette through various car shows, car clubs, and events in Kansas City and the Midwest. In January 2009 the Hendrick Auto Group and Hendrick Chevrolet became a premier dealer and representative of the Callaway Corvette. Robert quickly achieved local and national recognition for his sales, and was also recognized by Callaway at the annual dealer summit at Spring Mountain Motor Sports Ranch for the past 4 years. In January 2010, Robert was honored at the Barrett Jackson Auto Auction in Scottsdale Arizona by Mr. Hendrick for his performance in sales and achievements for the Hendrick Auto Group and Hendrick Chevrolet. In October 2012 Mr. Wiegers was promoted to New Vehicle Manager for Hendrick Chevrolet and continues to maintain his direct involvement with Corvette sales at the local and national level, Corvette clubs, and events. Robert is a leading force behind Corvette sale and promotion for Hendrick Chevrolet.
Sarabeth has been a team member at Hendrick Chevrolet since 1997. She has been a Corvette Certified Sales Associate since 2005. Sarabeth has worked in our New and Pre-owned Departments, our HUMMER division, and has finance experience as well. In October 2012 Sarabeth became a New and Pre-owned Sales Manager.
Jon has been selling Corvettes for over three years, and has been in sales and customer service for over 14 years. He maintains a Perfect 4.0 satisfaction rating from GM, as well as 100% Certification for all Vehicles. As a Hendrick-Certified Corvette as well as Camaro Expert, he has a commanding knowledge of Chevrolet's classic sports car - everything from detailed technical info and engine specifications to the history of the Corvette and the culture that surrounds it. He attends all Car Shows as well as other select events around the Kansas City area on Behalf of Hendrick Chevrolet. Don has been a salesperson here at Hendrick Chevrolet for nearly 15 years. His experience includes selling hundreds of cars, trucks, and SUV's, including a large number of Corvettes beginning with my first sale of a 1997 Corvette coupe in 1998. To this day, Don has Corvette customers who return to either buy another Corvette or some other vehicle from him. Besides selling locally, Don has sold primarily C-6 Corvettes to customers all over the United States. He is a GM Certified Corvette and Certified Camaro salesperson. Not only am is he knowledgeable in those two categories, but also in the complete line of Chevrolet vehicles.
